Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team and influence the distribution center's operations for efficiency, safety, and productivity. You will hire, evaluate, develop, discipline, and terminate hourly associates and supervise 20–30 staff.

You will drive process improvements, coaching, and planning to meet production goals while maintaining inventory accuracy and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) required.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a related field; high school diploma/GED accepted with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing Process: ensures operations procedures are followed and recommends improvements.
• Coaching and Developing Associates: trains, coaches and evaluates hourly staff.
• Drives Results: maintains inventory accuracy and key metric performance.
• Business Planning: coordinates operations to meet production rates and staffing needs.
