Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team and influence distribution operations to run safely, efficiently and productively. You will manage 20 to 30 hourly associates, handle hiring, evaluations, and corrective actions to maintain high standards.

Responsibilities include coaching, developing associates, ensuring inventory accuracy, and coordinating with the Operations Manager to optimize processes and staffing.

Qualifications

• Experience leading hourly teams in a distribution/fulfillment environment.
• Strong coaching, performance feedback, and disciplinary skills.
• Knowledge of inventory controls and process optimization.
• Ability to relocate and flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead 20–30 hourly associates and manage day-to-day operations.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and accurate merchandise handling.
• Hire, evaluate, develop, and terminate hourly staff as needed.
• Monitor metrics and drive productivity and quality improvements.
