Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor in the United States to lead an hourly team in a fast-paced distribution center. You will supervise 20 to 30 associates, hire and develop staff, and ensure safe, efficient merchandise handling while driving process improvements.

Responsibilities include coaching, evaluating performance, coordinating with senior leaders, and managing shifts. A Bachelor's degree and warehouse systems experience are preferred; relocation and flexible shifts may be

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.
Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a related field.
Flexibility to work various shifts and ability to relocate as needed.
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and MS Office preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead an hourly team of 20 to 30 associates and manage hiring, evaluation, development, discipline and termination.
Ensure accurate and efficient handling of merchandise while following standard processes.
Monitor productivity, safety, quality and expenses; drive process improvements.
Plan staffing and coordinate with Operations Manager and General Manager.
