Job summary

TBC Corporation is seeking a Distribution Center Assistant Manager to lead daily DC operations, ensuring SOPs are followed and KPIs achieved. You will manage P&L for the site and supervise a team, driving safety, efficiency, and cost-effective practices across receiving, storage, and shipping.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Operations, Business or related discipline (preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated management experience including leadership and motivational ability
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related tools
• Knowledge of Lean methodology and change management in a dynamic environment
• Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, holidays and weekends

Responsibilities

• Oversee all elements of distribution center operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and route management.
• Ensure SOPs are applied to achieve performance indicators.
• Protect company assets including inventory, equipment, and facilities; maintain safety and efficiency of operations.
• Manage labor and other variable costs to align with annual plans.
• Report on KPIs: customer service, productivity, and cost performance.
• Drive accountability and performance in line with company policies.
