Job summary

TBC Corporation, based in Carlsbad, CA, is seeking a Distribution Center Assistant Manager to drive daily site operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control, while ensuring SOPs and KPIs are met.

You will lead a team, manage labor costs, and safeguard assets and safety, reporting on performance and continuously improving processes. A 4-year degree in logistics or related field and 2+ years of management experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• A 4-year degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Operations, Business or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant management experience.
• Experience with ERP systems and routing software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all elements of distribution center operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and route management.
• Ensure SOPs are consistently applied to achieve operational performance indicators.
• Manage labor, delivery, and other variable costs within the building to align with annual business plans.
• Manage and report on KPIs such as customer service, productivity, and cost performance.
• Drive team accountability and performance and ensure company policies are followed.
• Lead safety initiatives to ensure safe and timely delivery of products.
