Job summary

TBC Corporation is seeking a Distribution Center Assistant Manager to lead day-to-day operations at our Kentucky distribution center, ensuring SOPs, policy adherence, KPI achievement, and P&L oversight. This role requires strong leadership, a focus on safety, and the ability to manage labor and costs effectively.

You will supervise shipping, receiving, inventory, route management, and continuous improvement initiatives, partnering with HR and sales teams to meet service levels and cost targets

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required or preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and experience managing teams.
• Strong time management and organizational skills are essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are required.
• Knowledge of Lean methodologies and safety practices is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all distribution center operations: shipping, receiving, inventory, and route management.
• Ensure SOPs are applied to meet KPIs and protect assets.
• Manage labor and variable costs to align with annual plans.
• Report on KPIs: customer service, productivity, and cost performance.
• Drive safety initiatives and compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with Wholesale and Franchise teams to meet service levels.
• Lead staffing, training, and performance management for site team.
