Job summary

TBC Corporation, a leading tire and automotive service distributor, seeks a Distribution Center Assistant Manager to drive day-to-day operations at the San Jose site. You will lead shipping, receiving, inventory, and route management, while enforcing SOPs and safety standards.

You will manage labor costs, optimize processes, and report on KPIs to improve service levels and efficiency. A 4-year degree and relevant DC experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Operations, or related field preferred.
• Experience leading distribution center teams and implementing SOPs.
• Knowledge of Lean, safety, and cost-management best practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all elements of distribution center operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and routing to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Ensure SOPs are applied to meet KPIs and cost targets.
• Protect assets and maintain facility, equipment, and vehicles for safe, efficient, lowest-cost operation.
• Manage labor and other variable costs to align with annual plans.
• Report on KPIs: NPS, On-time Delivery, units/hour, and delivery costs.
