Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Operations Manager to lead one or more functions in a large distribution center, driving productivity and a safe workplace. You will supervise multiple supervisors and hourly associates, shape process changes, and collaborate with senior leadership to meet cost and service objectives.

This role requires strong problem solving, strategic planning and people development skills, with a focus on safety, efficiency and cost-to-serve optimization.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business or Supply Chain.
• Experience: 2+ years in leadership or supervisory roles in distribution or logistics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound, warehouse, outbound and/or transportation ops to maximize productivity.
• Coach and develop associates, ensuring a safe, compliant work environment.
• Collaborate with GM/AGM to optimize processes, layout and staffing for efficiency.
• Monitor safety, security and performance metrics daily to drive improvements.
• Partner with 3PL or carriers to ensure reliable outbound loads and metrics.
