Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team in a fast-paced distribution center. You will oversee hiring, coaching, evaluations and discipline while driving safety, productivity and accuracy in merchandise handling.

Responsibilities include implementing process improvements, staff planning and coordinating with senior management to meet business goals. This role reports to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Ability to relocate
• 3+ years supervisory experience in a related field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; related experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead an hourly team of 20–30 associates.
• Hire, evaluate, develop, discipline and terminate hourly staff as needed.
• Ensure merchandise handling is prompt, efficient and accurate.
• Develop and implement team goals and performance metrics.
• Coordinate with Operations Manager and GM on processes and planning.
