Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Operations Manager to lead multiple warehouse functions and drive efficiency in a complex distribution center environment. You will supervise several supervisors and a large team of hourly associates to deliver safe, productive results across inbound, outbound and transportation operations.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership or management experience in a DC/warehouse setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business or Supply Chain preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple warehouse functions (Inbound, Warehouse, Outbound, Transportation) to drive productivity and safety.
• Evaluate work methods and staffing to optimize movement and layout for efficiency.
• Lead cost-to-serve improvements and coordinate with 3PL when applicable.
• Coach and develop associates, maintain union-free environment and employee engagement.
• Ensure a culture of safety and monitor operational metrics daily, weekly and monthly.
• Collaborate with GM/AGM on outbound loads and carrier relations.
