Job summary

The Home Depot U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a DC Operations Manager to lead a multi-function distribution center, supervising multiple supervisors and hourly associates to ensure safe, efficient inbound, warehouse, outbound, and office operations.

You will work with the General Manager or DC Assistant General Manager to set strategies, drive productivity, and manage 3PL relationships where applicable. A strong focus on safety, continuous improvement, and cost control is required.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Manage to ensure operational excellence in all warehouse areas and safe, efficient processing of inventory.
• Assist in evaluating work methods, procedures, controls and staffing for optimal efficiency.
• Assist in driving continuous improvement and reducing cost-to-serve; coordinate with 3PL providers as needed.
• Coach and develop associates through on-floor coaching and formal feedback.
• Maintain a safety-focused culture by adhering to safety policies and monitoring metrics.
• Collaborate with GM to manage relationships with 3PL onsite delivery or transportation agents.
