Job summary

The Home Depot in Chicago is seeking a DC Operations Manager to oversee inbound, warehouse, outbound, and office operations in a large distribution center. You will manage multiple supervisors to ensure efficient, safe processing and optimal layout and productivity aligned with store needs.

You will drive continuous improvement, coach associates, and manage safety and metrics daily, weekly, and monthly. Flexibility for relocation and a strong focus on cost-to-serve are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience, including supervisory or warehouse operations.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business or Supply Chain.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound, warehouse, outbound, and/or office operations to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Evaluate work methods, procedures, controls, and staffing for accuracy and timely movement of product.
• Lead cost-to-serve improvements and coordinate with 3PL providers as needed.
• Coach and develop associates through formal training and on-the-floor feedback.
• Maintain a safety-first culture per Home Depot policies and monitor metrics.
• Collaborate with GM/AGM on strategy and seasonal planning.
