Job summary

Chick-fil-A Supply is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a new distribution center in Cartersville, GA. You will work with senior leaders to execute safe, efficient operations serving Chick-fil-A Operators across the Southeast, with a workforce of about 250 and millions of cases distributed annually.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 7+ years in distribution/manufacturing or supply chain field management, including 3+ years in leadership.
• Strong problem solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Understanding of production and inventory control theories.
• Experience designing and managing DC operations.
• Knowledge of general accounting practices and P&L.
• Experience with KPI establishment and management.
• Familiarity with inbound/outbound logistics, IT systems, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM in leading a large-scale food service distribution center with a safety mindset.
• Serve as liaison balancing Operator needs with operational capabilities.
• Lead ~250-person workforce with ownership of Inventory Control and related functions.
• Design, implement, manage, and improve DC operations.
• Deliver high service levels to Operators and achieve KPIs.
• Oversee P&L of the DC operation.
• Drive innovation across distribution center operations.
• Build culture aligned with Chick-fil-A Supply values of care, safety and excellence.
• Recruit, train, and develop a strong team.
