Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team in our Boston distribution center, driving safe, efficient merchandise handling and achieving productivity goals.

You will hire, evaluate, develop, and discipline hourly associates, manage 20 to 30 staff, and partner with the Operations Manager to implement improvements, training, and scheduling while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.
• Ability to relocate.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Preferred 3+ years supervisory experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Managing Process: Ensures procedures are followed and recommends changes to improve standard processes.
• Coaching and Developing Associates: Trains and evaluates hourly staff, provides coaching, and handles performance feedback.
• Drives Results: Maintains inventory accuracy and analyzes key metrics for productivity and cost.
• Business Planning: Plans staffing levels to meet production goals and minimizes irregularities.
• Additional Responsibilities: Performs other duties as assigned by Operations leadership.
