Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking an experienced DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team and influence the distribution center to run efficiently, safely, and productively. You will oversee hiring, evaluations, development, discipline, and termination of hourly staff, managing 20 to 30 associates.

Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to processes, coaching staff, driving productivity, and planning staffing to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma required as baseline.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• 45% Managing Process: ensure procedures are followed and suggest changes to improve methods.
• 25% Coaching and Developing Associates: train, coach, and evaluate hourly associates; hire and discipline as needed.
• 15% Drives Results: maintain inventory accuracy and analyze key metrics for improvement.
• 15% Business Planning: coordinate operations to meet production rates and plan staffing.
