Job summary

The Home Depot in Westfield, MA is looking for a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team and influence the distribution center’s operations to be efficient, safe and productive. You will manage the team, hire, evaluate, develop, discipline and terminate hourly associates, supervising 20 to 30 people.

Expect to drive process improvements, coaching and performance reviews, inventory accuracy and staffing planning to align with the business plan and budgets in a fast-paced distribution setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent; 3+ years supervisory experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and relocate.

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize distribution center processes and procedures.
• Coach and develop hourly associates; conduct evaluations and handle discipline as needed.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and control; review reports for improvements in productivity, accuracy, quality and costs.
• Coordinate staffing and planning to meet business goals and production rates.
