Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead a team of 20–30 hourly associates, ensuring efficient, safe and productive distribution center operations. You will hire, evaluate, develop, discipline and terminate staff while implementing team goals and guiding daily processes.

Responsibilities include managing processes, coaching associates, driving results, and business planning. Travel is overnight less than 10%, with a focus on operational excellence and team development.

Qualifications

Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Flexibility to work various shifts.
Ability to relocate.

Responsibilities

45% Managing Process: Ensures all operations procedures are followed effectively and identifies changes to improve standardized processes.
25% Coaching and Developing Associates: Trains, coaches and evaluates hourly associates and handles staffing actions.
15% Drives Results: Maintains inventory accuracy and analyzes metrics for improvements in productivity, accuracy, quality and expenses.
15% Business Planning: Aligns operations with business plans and plans staffing to meet production needs.
Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
