Job summary

Steampunk seeks a Disruption Designer to guide government clients through our Design Intelligence framework, using human-centered methods to solve end-to-end organization and experience challenges. You will lead discovery sessions that uncover pain points and opportunities, and serve as the voice of the customer throughout proposed solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in human-centered design, service design, and/or customer experience design.
• Portfolio demonstrating ideology, methods, tools, skills, and craft.
• Experience conducting primary and secondary research including stakeholder and user interviews.

Responsibilities

• Participate in discovery to understand client mission and goals; stakeholders and user ecosystems.
• Frame pain points and opportunities; define problem statements and hypotheses.
• Synthesize research to inform strategy, and create roadmaps, personas, journey and service maps.
• Collaborate in an agile, cross-functional team to deliver high-quality outputs.
