Job summary

Steampunk is seeking a Disruption Designer to guide government clients through our Design Intelligence framework, focusing on people impacted by transformation and change. You will engage stakeholders, define problems, and shape change enablement with human-centered design approaches.

You will conduct workshops, synthesize insights into actionable recommendations, and craft training and communication plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5+ years of change management experience.
• Experience with current state assessments, future state visioning, and communication planning.
• Experience conducting user and stakeholder interviews and synthesizing data into personas and training plans.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. government Public Trust Security Clearance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in a project-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Guide government clients through the Design Intelligence framework.
• Conduct discovery to understand client mission, goals, stakeholders, and user ecosystems.
• Frame pain points and opportunities through workshops and interviews.
• Synthesize research into insights and communicate recommendations.
• Develop change management, pilot, and training plans with stakeholders.
• Develop and measure KPIs for transformation and adoption.
• Collaborate on cross-functional teams within an Agile environment.
• Ensure deliverables are high quality across projects.
