Job summary

Steampunk is seeking a Disruption Designer to guide government clients through our Design Intelligence framework, focusing on people affected by transformation and driving adoption of new ways of working. You will lead discovery, workshops, and change-management plans, measure adoption, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to ensure high-quality deliverables.

This role requires federal project experience, security clearance eligibility, and a competitive salary

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a U.S. government Public Trust Security Clearance.
• Experience in change management best practices and models.
• Knowledge of current state assessments, future state visioning and communication planning.
• Experience conducting user and stakeholder interviews and synthesizing data into personas and training plans.
• Ability to connect multiple workstreams and stakeholders in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Guide government clients through our Design Intelligence framework.
• Conduct discovery to understand client mission, stakeholders, users, and ecosystems.
• Frame pain points and opportunities through workshops and interviews.
• Synthesize research into stories and presentations to shape transformation.
• Develop and deploy communication, pilot, and training plans with stakeholders.
• Develop change management plans for organizational and workflow improvements.
• Measure KPIs for transformation and adoption.
• Collaborate on cross-functional teams within an agile environment.
• Ensure deliverables meet high quality standards.
