Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Disputes Pursuits & Directories Manager to lead RFP responses and pitches, coordinating across Litigation, Regulatory & Government Affairs, IP & Technology, and Labor & Employment teams.

Hybrid role across multiple offices, including Short Hills, with responsibility for content, experience library, and directory submissions. Requires 8+ years of experience in professional services bids and strong writing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication or related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years directing RFP responses and proposals in a professional services environment.
• Ability to lead, develop, and contribute effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the pitch and proposal lifecycle from opportunity assessment to submission.
• Coordinate with pricing, BD and marketing colleagues to craft compliant, client-centric responses.
• Develop and maintain standard BD content and an experience library.
• Coach lawyers on in-person and virtual presentations for BD opportunities.
• Draft, edit and format proposal documents to meet client requirements.
• Proactively identify BD opportunities and drive the pipeline.
