Job summary

The Higher Collective is seeking an Assistant General Manager for our Bridgeport, CT cannabis dispensary. You will support daily operations, lead the team in the GM's absence, and ensure exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will train staff on products, manage inventory, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate on marketing efforts to boost sales while maintaining a compliant, safe, and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and industry trends.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dispensary operations with regulatory compliance.
• Lead and manage staff in the General Manager's absence.
• Provide training and coaching to staff on products and service.
• Develop and implement operational procedures and policies.
• Manage inventory including ordering, receiving, stocking, and audits.
• Process transactions accurately and ensure compliance with laws.
• Assist in marketing activities to drive sales.
• Schedule staff to ensure coverage during peak hours.
