Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and industry trends.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.
• Proficiency in point-of-sale systems, inventory management, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Passion for the cannabis industry and a commitment to compliance.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the dispensary, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies.
• Lead and manage the dispensary team in the absence of the General Manager.
• Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to staff to ensure high levels of product knowledge and customer service.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement operational procedures and policies.
• Maintain a deep understanding of cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods to provide accurate information to customers and staff.
• Assist in inventory management, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and conducting regular audits.
• Process transactions accurately and ensure that all sales are compliant with state and local regulations.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Help plan and execute marketing and promotional activities to drive sales and customer engagement.
• Assist in staff scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage during peak hours and events.
• Maintain a clean and organized dispensary environment, including displays and product presentation.
• Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and distributors to maintain positive relationships and negotiate favorable terms.
• Uphold security protocols to ensure the safety of products, assets, and personnel.
• Keep updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving dispensary operations.
• Assist in financial management, including tracking expenses and monitoring sales performance.
