Job summary

Vireo Health in Minnesota is seeking a Dispensary Supervisor I to lead the frontline team in daily operations, ensure customer service excellence, and support retail execution. In the absence of GM and higher supervisors, you will oversee all store operations and model service standards.

You will mentor new hires, coach staff, handle escalations with empathy, manage cash and drawer operations, verify IDs, and train others to uphold company standards and Minnesota regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 or older.
• Minimum 1+ years of retail leadership or management experience.
• Proactive with strong work ethic, attention to detail, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Open to constructive feedback and ongoing development.
• Proficient with standard office equipment and computer software.
• Must pass all required background checks.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead the frontline team in day-to-day operations to ensure exceptional customer service and retail execution.
• Mentor new hires and support onboarding processes.
• Step up as Manager on Duty when needed.
• Provide real-time coaching and occasional course-corrections to improve performance.
• Address escalated customer/patient concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Maintain front‑of‑house shelves and manage product delivery intake.
• Oversee cash handling, drawer operations, and secure cash flow.
• Verify IDs, intake info, and track products using POS and inventory systems.
• Educate staff and customers on cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods.
• Own the sales floor by guiding customers through the ordering process and upselling.
• Open and close the store; uphold security and safety policies.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and Minnesota state regulations.
