Job description

Marshall’s Specialty Services is seeking a Full-Time Service Coordinator / Dispatcher to join our team!

We are a reputable HVAC company serving Lane County, OR since 1948, committed to customer satisfaction, employee well-being, and quality work. If you are detail-oriented, organized, and enjoy helping others, we want to hear from you!

This role involves on-the-job training, but requires strong phone and customer service skills, along with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate customer scheduling and dispatch Service Technicians based on skills, availability, and route efficiency. Excellent professionalism, attention to detail, punctuality, and reliability are essential.

Pay: $19 - $23 per hour. Full-time, non-exempt position.

Work hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, at our Springfield office located at 4110 Olympic St., OR 97478. Overtime and evening hours may be required during peak seasons.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency with computers; experience with Google Workspace (G-Suite) is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well with others; team player
• Knowledge of Lane County, OR service area preferred
• Scheduling and dispatching experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Handle live customer calls to determine service needs
• Provide quotes and pricing information
• Create work orders and service agreements; document details in software (training provided)
• Schedule and dispatch technicians based on skills, availability, and routes
• Debrief and dispatch technicians after calls
• Monitor call boards to ensure timely callbacks
• Maintain accurate customer information
• Make reminder calls to customers
• Collaborate with team members as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
