Gallaher Company in California is seeking a Dispatcher to be the vital link between customers and our technicians, ensuring the right person is in the right place at the right time to deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of dispatching experience in a service industry within the last 5 years.
• General knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in using computers and dispatching software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer calls for service with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Proactively call customers to schedule or reschedule service appointments.
• Organize and manage calls on the dispatch board with timely responses and accurate scheduling.
• Dispatch service technicians to customer locations based on skills, availability, and proximity to the job site.
• Maintain accurate customer records and address any customer concerns promptly.
• Perform general office tasks including data entry, filing, and answering emails.
• Track paused jobs and reschedule them in a timely manner.
• Participate in an on-call rotation schedule with other exempt staff members.
