You will assign calls, monitor driver locations, manage route schedules, handle customer inquiries, and keep teams informed to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED and ability to work in a collaborative team.
• Dispatch experience preferred; strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Dispatches drivers to calls based on customer needs, driver locations and loads to balance cost and service.
• Balances productivity by routing vehicles to achieve company goals and ensures route completion.
• Assigns routes to drivers, manages requests for pickups or deliveries, and communicates delays to customers.
• Maintains route schedules, gathers route documentation, and tracks driver locations and performance.
• Reports driver issues to management and participates in training to expand knowledge.
