Qualifications

• Experience in administrative support with strong data entry skills and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Very strong computer skills including iPad and iPhone experience.
• Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 3+ years of experience in customer service, administrative support, dispatch, or a related area.
• Familiarity with office equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and positive interactions with customers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Dispatcher receives orders from customers and schedules drivers to deliver product at various locations.
• Assigns appropriate equipment and personnel for completion of duties and deliveries.
• Request quotes/prices and receive orders.
• Coordinate equipment moves with transport companies and monitor agency transport compliance.
• Keeps supervisor and drivers informed of tasks and situations so the schedule can be updated.
• Tracks and reports time off/attendance of drivers and personnel.
• Answers phone to take/alter order and complete all required information.
• Communicate effectively and handle after hour and weekend changes.
• Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations and respectful interactions.
• Troubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems (material quality, equipment operation/repair, etc.).
• Monitor and communicate with field, managers and supervisors of upcoming challenges or changes in deliveries/scheduling.
• Suggest methods of improvement to supervisors/managers.
• Ensure that work is executed as scheduled and that only emergency jobs interrupt scheduled work.
• Provide routine administrative support to Operations & Field as necessary.
