Job summary

Knife River - South is seeking a Ready-Mix Dispatcher to coordinate daily dispatching operations and serve as the primary contact for customers at our Ready-Mix plants. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional service, maintaining quality standards, and optimizing fleet utilization in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in dispatch or related roles, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Word/Excel; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred for enhanced customer

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in customer service, dispatch, production, equipment operations, maintenance, quality control, or related field preferred.
• Spanish-English bilingual ability preferred.
• Proficient with computer systems and Microsoft Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer calls to place, modify, or cancel orders with accurate documentation.
• Provide pricing information and process ready-mix concrete orders.
• Enter and maintain order records, including special instructions.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with plant/yard personnel based on capacity and location.
• Maintain regular communication with Sales, Plant Managers, and drivers to ensure on-time deliveries.
