Job summary

Estes Express Lines in Oklahoma City is seeking a detail-oriented customer service/clerical professional to support freight operations. You will handle high-volume calls, check in drivers, and input manifest data into the dispatch system.

You will also image bills of lading, identify special delivery instructions, and coordinate delivery times with customers and drivers while maintaining a high level of accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• Experience in billing, collections, tracing & OS&D preferred.
• Computer skills; proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• Strong customer service skills and clerical abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; attentive listener.
• Ability to follow established instructions and processes.
• Must be able to lift ~20 lbs. and interact well with others.
• Eligible to work in the United States and pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones with high call volume and direct calls accurately.
• Check in drivers and manage related data entry tasks.
• Enter delivery manifest data into the computer system.
• Image and scan bills of lading and other documents.
• Identify bills requiring special delivery instructions.
• Distribute Bills of Lading and enter data into dispatch system.
• Coordinate delivery times with customers and drivers.
• Interact with driver handhelds and support operations as needed.
• Maintain regular attendance and adapt to high-priority demands.
