Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking a detail‑oriented customer service/clerical professional in Edwardsville, IL to support freight operations. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• Experience in billing, collections, tracing & OS&D preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Good clerical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and established processes.
• Able to lift approximately 20 lbs.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience in the transportation industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones with a high call volume and direct calls accurately.
• Check in drivers and process delivery manifests.
• Enter data into the dispatch system.
• Image and scan bills of lading and other documents.
• Identify freight bills requiring special delivery instructions.
• Distribute bills of Lading.
• Enter data into the dispatch system.
• Coordinate delivery times and schedule freight appointments.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
