Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• Billing, collections, tracing OS&D preferred.
• Computer skills; proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Good clerical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications; listening skills.
• Ability to follow established instructions and processes.
• Must be able to lift 20 lbs and work under close instruction.
• Experience in transportation is a plus; must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones with a heavy call volume and direct calls with accuracy.
• Check in drivers and manage delivery schedules.
• Enter delivery manifest data into the computer system.
• Conduct imaging and scanning of bills of lading and other documents.
• Identify freight bills requiring special delivery instructions.
• Distribute bills of Lading and enter data into the dispatch system.
