Job summary

ServiceMaster Restore is seeking an experienced Water Damage Crew Chief to lead our restoration team on residential and commercial sites. This role requires expert water mitigation knowledge, the ability to guide technicians, and ownership of jobsite outcomes.

The ideal candidate has professional water-damage/restoration experience, strong documentation skills, and the capability to communicate clearly with customers and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Professional water-damage/restoration experience.
• Knowledge of water extraction and structural drying.
• Experience with moisture meters and drying equipment.
• Ability to lead technicians.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Strong documentation and mobile technology skills.
• Valid driver''s license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
• Availability for emergency/on-call work as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Lead technicians on residential and commercial water losses.
• Perform water extraction and structural drying.
• Inspect affected areas and identify moisture migration.
• Use moisture meters and other inspection equipment.
• Set up and monitor air movers, dehumidifiers, and air filtration devices.
• Perform controlled demolition and containment.
• Protect customer property and maintain clean, safe jobsites.
• Direct daily crew activities and maintain production standards.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
• Complete accurate photos, moisture readings, and daily documentation.
• Use Restore 365, Mitigate, DocuSketch, and other company technology.
• Ensure crews follow safety procedures and company standards.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Train and develop newer technicians.
• Communicate job conditions and changes to the Supervisor or Project Manager.
• Participate in emergency/on-call response as scheduled.
