EisnerAmper seeks a Consulting Manager - CDBG-DR in our Government Services Practice. The role is ideal for someone with strong familiarity with HUD CDBG-DR and a track record supporting complex programs in compliance or policy.

The role can be remote or hybrid for candidates near local offices. Responsibilities include supervising the team, ensuring deliverable quality, and aiding in the design and implementation of disaster recovery programs that meet eligibility and regulatory requirements.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of consulting and Business Development experience preferred.
• Experience with pre-award, post-award, and closeout processes for CDBG-DR grants.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with AI tools.

• Supervise team members, coach performance, and complete annual evaluations.
• Evaluate client needs and engagement scope; oversee quality control of deliverables.
• Support compliance with HUD and related regulations (Universal Notice, Stafford Act, 24 CFR 570, 2 CFR 200).
• Assist in designing disaster recovery programs meeting eligibility requirements and national objectives.
• Contribute to program design decisions and method of implementation.
• Draft/evaluate grantee Action Plan Amendments for CDBG-DR compliance.
• Develop policies and procedures aligning with regulations and Action Plans.
• Support strategic planning and growth by tracking disaster recovery trends and opportunities.
• Engage in business development activities, respond to proposals, and identify funding opportunities.
• Identify gaps and opportunities to increase program impact; travel may be required.
