Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a Consulting Manager - CDBG-DR in our Government Services Practice. The role can be remote or hybrid, located near one of our offices. You will supervise staff, ensure quality of deliverables, and advise clients on CDBG-DR compliance and disaster recovery implementation.

Responsibilities include managing engagements, supporting regulatory compliance (2 CFR 200, 24 CFR 570), and leading business development to grow services in the government sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of CDBG-DR grant management experience in a compliance or policy-related role, including 3+ years in a management or supervisory role.
• Strong policy background, including 2 CFR 200 and 24 CFR 570 compliance requirements and Federal Register Notices.

Responsibilities

• Perform supervisory responsibilities for the team, including coaching staff and conducting annual evaluations.
• Evaluate client needs and engagement scope; oversee work quality and deliverables.
• Support compliance with Universal Notice, Stafford Act, 24 CFR 570, 2 CFR 200, and Federal Register Notices.
• Assist in designing and implementing disaster recovery programs meeting eligibility requirements and National Objective.
• Draft and evaluate grantee Action Plan Amendments to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop policies and procedures to meet regulations and grant requirements.
• Support strategic planning, identify disaster recovery trends, and pursue new services opportunities.
• Engage in business development: conferences, thought leadership, and proposals.
