Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a Consulting Manager for the Government Services practice with deep CDBG-DR program experience. You will supervise teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and help design disaster recovery programs for HUD and related funding sources.

The role offers flexibility as fully remote or hybrid, with a preferred location near an EisnerAmper office. Strong communication, project management, and business development skills are essential to drive client impact and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, or a related field is required.
• 5+ years of consulting and Business Development is preferred.
• Experience with pre-award, post-award, and closeout processes for CDBG-DR grants.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the team and coach staff, completing annual evaluations.
• Evaluate client needs, manage work scope, and oversee quality of deliverables.
• Help maintain compliance with CDBG-DR regulations and relevant HUD rules.
• Assist in designing disaster recovery programs meeting eligibility and National Objective.
• Draft or evaluate grantee Action Plans to ensure plan compliance.
• Develop policies and procedures aligned with regulations and action plans.
• Support strategic planning and growth by tracking disaster recovery trends.
• Engage in business development via conferences, thought leadership, and proposals.
• Identify recovery gaps and propose leveraging resources to increase impact.
• May require extended hours and travel to different offices/locations.
