Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a Consulting Manager - CDBG-DR in our Government Services Practice. The role focuses on HUD CDBG-DR regulations, program design, compliance, and engagement oversight, with potential for fully remote or hybrid work near local offices.

The position requires leadership, client management, and business development to grow disaster recovery services. Bachelor's in a related field is required, with 5+ years in consulting preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, or a related field is required.
• 5+ years of consulting and Business Development experience preferred.
• Experience with pre-award, post-award, and closeout processes for CDBG-DR grants.
• Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team and coach staff, conduct annual evaluations.
• Assess client needs, manage engagement scope, and ensure quality control.
• Support regulatory compliance with HUD and disaster recovery requirements.
• Design and implement disaster recovery programs meeting eligibility and National Objective.
• Draft or evaluate grantee Action Plan Amendments for CDBG-DR compliance.
• Support business development through conferences, thought leadership, and proposals.
