The role supports state/local grantees, drafts amendments, and leads planning with an emphasis on regulatory compliance and program design. Remote or hybrid work options are possible for candidates near local offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of CDBG-DR grant management experience in a compliance or policy role, including 3+ years in a management/supervisory role.
• Strong policy background including 2 CFR 200 and 24 CFR 570 compliance and related Federal Register Notices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team performance, coach staff, and conduct annual evaluations.
• Manage engagement scope, monitor work quality and deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with HUD regulations and Federal requirements.
• Design and implement disaster recovery program activities and eligibility analyses.
• Develop and amend grantee Action Plans to meet CDBG-DR rules.
• Support strategic planning, BD activities, and proposal responses.
