Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking experienced Cost Estimators to support FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster recovery programs. You will develop accurate, defensible cost estimates for infrastructure restoration, emergency work, and permanent work projects, with on-call, remote, field-based, or hybrid assignments depending on client needs.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster recovery programs through project scoping, damage assessment, and cost estimating.
• Prepare conceptual, parametric, and detailed bottom-up cost estimates for disaster recovery projects.
• Review engineering reports, plans, and cost documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide technical estimating expertise to project managers and applicants as part of the recovery program.
