Job summary

Hope College in Holland, MI seeks an Assistant Director for Disability and Accessibility Resources to lead accommodations and services for enrolled students. You will collaborate with faculty, staff, and off-campus providers to ensure accessible learning and living environments.

The role requires a Master’s degree and 3–5 years in disability services, strong communication, and knowledge of ADA/504. This is a 1.0 FTE, year-round position with opportunities to partner across campus.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of disability categories and reasonable accommodations.
• Strong understanding of ADA 1990/504/AA amendments and Michigan disability laws.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to work with diverse communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services to students for accommodations and advocacy.
• Collaborate with faculty, CAPS, Health Center, Residential Life and others to arrange services.
• Train staff and faculty on disabilities and accommodations.
• Maintain records and documentation workflows for accessibility services.
• Handle confidential information with professionalism and privacy.
