Job summary

Community College of Denver seeks an Assistant Director for the Accessibility Center to lead equitable access for students with disabilities. You will supervise staff, coordinate accommodations, and collaborate with campus partners to implement inclusive programs and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role supports strategic planning, data-driven assessment, and technology integration while maintaining timely, high-quality accommodations and student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred for leadership.
• Knowledge of ADA, Section 504, FERPA in higher ed.
• Three years’ direct experience with disabilities in higher ed.
• Three years’ experience in educational accommodations and case management.

Responsibilities

• Lead accessibility services operations and program development.
• Coordinate accommodations and maintain student files with confidentiality.
• Supervise ASL interpreters and staff; manage budgets and procurement.
• Collaborate with faculty and campus partners to ensure compliance.
• Utilize data systems for reporting and program assessment.
