Job summary

Miami University seeks an Assistant Director, Regional Disability Services to lead accommodations for students with disabilities and steer accessibility initiatives in collaboration with campus partners.

Reporting to the Miller Center Director, with dotted line to the Regional Senior Assistant Dean, the role also oversees office operations and staff development. A Master’s degree and 3+ years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Higher Education, Social Work, Counseling or related field; at least 3 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily office operations for the Regional campus with the Miller Center Director.
• Assists with staff training and supervision, develops disability accommodation procedures.
• Maintains knowledge of disability law and accessibility best practices.
• Promotes disability access & inclusion on university committees and workgroups.
• Provides database administration for AIM and oversees testing accommodations.
