Job summary

DirectShifts is seeking a clinician to conduct VA C&P General Medicine examinations and complete DBQs in accordance with VA guidelines. You will review veterans' medical histories, perform comprehensive physical assessments, and document objective findings for accurate reports.

Qualifications include an active NP or PA license with a collaborative agreement as required by state law, plus strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.

• Collaborative agreement with supervising physician where required by state law.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to established clinical protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct VA C&P General Medicine examinations.
• Review Veterans' medical history and documentation prior to evaluations.
• Perform comprehensive physical assessments.
• Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) accurately and thoroughly.
• Prepare timely, objective, and detailed medical reports.
• Ensure compliance with VA guidelines, HIPAA, and applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure timely completion of evaluations.
