Job summary

DirectShifts is seeking a licensed NP or PA to conduct VA C&P General Medicine exams for Veterans. The role involves reviewing medical histories, performing comprehensive assessments, and completing DBQs in line with VA guidelines.

You will document findings clearly, prepare objective reports, and collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure timely evaluations. Flexible scheduling and no on-call duties are available.

Qualifications

• Active NP or PA license in good standing.
• Must have a collaborative agreement with supervising physician as required by state law.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently while following clinical protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct VA C&P General Medicine examinations.
• Review Veterans' medical history and documentation prior to evaluations.
• Perform comprehensive physical assessments.
• Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) accurately and thoroughly.
• Prepare timely, objective, medical reports.
• Ensure compliance with VA guidelines, HIPAA, and regulations.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure timely evaluations.
