Job summary

DirectShifts seeks clinician(s) to review Veterans' medical records and conduct comprehensive General Medicine examinations for VA C&P evaluations. You will document findings, complete DBQs, and prepare detailed medical reports in alignment with VA guidelines.

Applicants must hold an active NP or PA license with a collaborative agreement where required by state law, and demonstrate strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills; work independently within clinical protocols.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license.
• Collaborative agreement with supervising physician where required by state law.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to established clinical protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct VA C&P General Medicine examinations.
• Review Veterans' medical history and supporting documentation prior to each evaluation.
• Perform comprehensive physical assessments.
• Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) accurately and thoroughly.
• Prepare timely, objective, and detailed medical reports.
• Ensure compliance with VA guidelines, HIPAA, and all applicable state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure timely completion of evaluations.
