Job summary
DirectShifts is seeking a licensed NP or PA to perform VA disability evaluations, conduct comprehensive General Medicine examinations, and document findings according to VA guidelines. You will review veterans' medical histories, complete DBQs, and produce timely medical reports.
Responsibilities include conducting C&P General Medicine exams, ensuring HIPAA and state/federal compliance, and collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to complete evaluations efficiently.
Qualifications
- Must hold an active, unrestricted NP or PA license.
- Collaborative agreement with supervising physician where required by state law.
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct VA Compensation & Pension (C&P) General Medicine examinations.
- Review Veterans' medical history and supporting documentation prior to each evaluation.
- Perform comprehensive physical assessments and complete DBQs accurately.
- Prepare timely, objective, and detailed medical reports.
- Ensure compliance with VA guidelines, HIPAA, and all applicable state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure timely completion of evaluations.
