Job summary

Hansa Biopharma in New York City is seeking a Director, US Trade and Distribution to develop and manage US trade and distribution operations, ensuring timely patient access while maintaining financial control. The role reports to the VP Supply Chain and will follow a hybrid work model from the NYC office.

Key responsibilities include channel strategy, distribution network management, gross‑to‑net optimization, contract operations, forecasting and inventory monitoring, plus DSCSA compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
• 10+ years US pharmaceutical supply and distribution experience including launch experience.
• Vendor management and governance with 3PLs/SDs and CMOs.
• 3PL budget management experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (approx. 20%).

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage distribution network and channel economics.
• Oversee chargeback administration and government/commercial contract operations.
• Forecasting and inventory monitoring to meet contractual obligations.
• Manage quality and compliance, including DSCSA and SOP adherence.
• Collaborate with Finance, Regulatory, Legal, Commercial and Market Access teams.
