NewAmsterdam Pharma Corporation seeks a Senior Director, Trade and Distribution to design and execute the U.S. trade and distribution strategy, leading channel strategy, launch readiness, 3PL oversight, and performance tracking to ensure product availability and a strong provider and patient experience.

This executive role partners with Supply Chain, Legal, Finance, Pricing and Market Access to align distribution with launch objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Deep understanding of specialty pharmacy, distributor, and wholesaler channel dynamics.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical or biotech trade, distribution, channel strategy, market access, or related functions.
• Experience designing or managing U.S. pharmaceutical distribution strategies, including retail and specialty channels.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operationalize the U.S. trade and distribution model.
• Lead launch readiness planning for on-time product availability and compliant order-to-cash processes.
• Evaluate channel options across pharmacy and medical benefit pathways and site-of-care dynamics.
• Identify, assess, and manage strategic channel partners including wholesalers, specialty distributors, and 3PLs.
• Establish governance routines and negotiate distribution agreements with external partners.
• Define KPIs and monitor inventory, availability, and launch execution.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Legal, Finance, Pricing, and Market Access to align distribution with objectives.
