Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Director of Business Development for the Dedicated Transportation segment. You will lead the pursuit of new business and oversee strategy, pricing, and cross-functional teams to win contracts.

The role emphasizes solution selling, team-based bids, and meeting assigned quotas. Expect travel of 40-50% with base salary plus commission. A strong background in supply chain solutions and value-based pricing is essential for success in this high-visibility leadership

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field.
• MBA preferred.
• 5+ years sales experience with quota attainment; 3 years at quota and 2 years at 75% of quota.
• 5+ years selling supply chain solutions and/or achieve quota attainment.

Mansioni

• Lead deal pursuit with pricing strategy and proposal plan.
• Prospect new brands and develop industry network to build pipeline.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals.
• Transition new accounts to key accounts after 24 months and support cross-selling where applicable.
