Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Director of Business Development for Dedicated Transportation in Dallas, TX.

The role leads the pursuit of new contracts, manages cross-functional deal strategy, and drives a sales quota through team-based selling and solution selling. Responsibilities include pricing, proposal strategies, and expanding business with existing clients while transitioning accounts after 24 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field.
• MBA preferred.
• 5+ years in sales with quota attainment.
• 5+ years selling supply chain solutions.
• Noncommercial Driver License CLASS E.
• Understanding of services, costs, pricing and value.

Responsibilities

• Lead deal pursuit with pricing strategy and cross-functional team.
• Prospect new brands and build pipeline; negotiate contracts.
• Provide continued commercial support on closed accounts.
• Transition accounts after 24 months and into relevant roles.
• Propose $100 million in new business over 5 years.
• Adhere to Ryder’s Policies and Procedures including Travel and Expense Policy.
